The Model IDP is a low cost 4-digit process meter for applications where indication only is required. It incorporates an electrically-floating excitation supply for powering transmitters or active transducers. In many cases this built-in supply can eliminate the need for a more expensive external supply. The output voltage is jumper selectable for 10 Vdc or 24 Vdc. Maximum output current is 25 mA at both voltage settings. The unit provides broad scaling capabilities via the front panel pushbuttons. Tare: The IDP has a built-in tare feature. Press the front panel tare button to remove unwanted offset readings from the display, or use the remote tare with contact closure inputs on the rear connector. Peak or Valley: The IDP provides the ability to capture and display peak or valley levels of your input signals. This can be particularly important for such applications as destructive testing, pressure testing, etc. Compact Case: The IDP is housed in a 1/8 DIN case that requires less than 100 mm (4.0") behind the panel. Screw terminal plugs for signal and power are standard. Options: Options are isolated 9-32 Vdc power, and a splash-proof lens cover which meets IP65 requirements.
